The Center for Empowerment Ethiopia Association (CEE) recently conducted a capacity-building training on Income Generating Activities (IGA) aimed at empowering participants with the knowledge and skills needed to establish and sustain small businesses. The training focused on enhancing entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and business management strategies, equipping participants with practical tools to identify viable business opportunities within their communities. Participants learned how to develop business plans, access local markets, and manage resources effectively. The program also emphasized the importance of financial planning, savings, and reinvestment to ensure long-term sustainability. This initiative is part of CEE’s broader mission to promote economic independence and improve livelihoods among vulnerable groups, particularly women and youth.
